Adding Multimedia

To add an image / flash animation, audio clip or an external resource to a question or informative page, simply click on the appropriate button as shown below. Or select Multimedia from the menu bar.

A box will appear containing all the files you have previously uploaded to the system and some sample media files.

Add Files to Pages

To add a file, select it from the list.

Uploading New Files

To upload a new file click on the New button on the file selection box. A new window will appear where you can browse for multimedia files on your computer. Press Upload to copy the files to the Test Nation system.

 To upload a new file :

1. Click on the New button on the file selection box.
2. A new web browser window will appear.
3. Click on the Browse button.
4. Locate the image you want to upload.
5. Press Upload.
6. Wait for the the uploading to finish.

Supported File Formats

Test Nation supports the following image formats:

• JPG, JPE - JPEG quality compressed images.
• GIF - Compressed images.
• SWF - Macromedia Flash Animation.

Test Nation supports the following audio formats:

• MP3 - quality compressed sound file.
• SWA- Compressed Macromedia sound file.

Test Nation supports any system registered files as external resources. Some commonly used formats include:

• MPEG, MPG - Video Clip.
• MOV - Quicktime Video Clip.
• PPT - Microsoft Powerpoint presentations.
• PDF - Adobe Acrobat Document.
• DOC - Microsoft Word Files.
• XLS - Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Files.
• MDB - Microsoft Access Database Files.

Removing Files

To remove a file from a page click on Clear.
